Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney “We’re the first team from the state of South Carolina to ever win a BCS game," Swinney said to the cheers of the crowd. Swinney's comments were a not so subtle jab back at Steve Spurrier who instead of taking the trophy in the Capital One postgame ceremony, took the ESPN microphone and said, "Two Capital One bowl [wins] in a row are pretty nice, but that state championship ain't bad either."Dabo Swinney
