Panthers Sign Renfrow

I think it’s safe to say now that the panthers are serious contenders. They have Bryce young and Hunter Renfrow so not really sure what else they need and why they drafted all these other dudes. I think personally they should’ve just traded for Trevor Lawrence and Tee Higgins. Got some Dline help with a few guys. Christian Wilkins DT for the raiders or Dexter Lawrence DT for the Giants. Maybe go out and get some secondary help with AJ Terrell. Sign Isaiah Simmons from the giants. I’m sure they could get Travis Etienne for a few picks too. Then you would know they’re serious about winning it all. They can keep their filthy hands off Dabo and the Rock though. Hunter Renfrow was just a piece to the puzzle that I’m not sure why it’s so hard for NFL teams to figure out.

...why? He had 21 tackles last season. Not going to move the needle.
He was an amazing player for Clemson but these "gadget" players don't necessarily pan out very well in the NFL. They are Masters of None so to speak.

It definitely puts them in the right direction to hold the Lombardi trophy. Like I said they are contenders just need a few more moves before the season starts and they could be heavy favorites. I have some suggestions listed above.

Renfrow will not move the needle for the Panthers. The Panthers need a lot of help. They need offensive linemen, linebackers, defensive backs and a tight end. The Panthers will be lucky to win 6 games this year.
I love Renfrow for what he did at Clemson and I believe he is a good man; however, he is not a needle mover for the Panthers.

It comes down to whether the smallish QB with average athleticism that they through away high valued picks and a pro bowl WR for continues to progress as he appeared to do so during the final 3 games of last season. I have my doubts.

Stop. Not only are they not the favorite in the NFC, they are not even the favorite in their division. They are in a bad division to begin with in that a 7 win team may win that division, but they are not better than Tampa Bay or Atlanta.

I'm not sold on Atlanta. And if we get a good draw, I think we have the talent to win the division. Keyword good draw.
