Getting A Break

They say bad things happen in threes.  Maybe the offensive personnel at Clemson forgot that saying.

So far 10 players on offense have had significant injuries on Clemson's offense.

The most significant is freshman sensation quarterback Deshaun WatsonDeshaun Watson

have missed time on defense with injuries, but the defense has more depth and has not lost the numbers of the offense.

The staff has done a good job of working around the 10 offensive injuries but it does make their job more difficult.  The offensive line has seen a couple of guys play several positions.  Reid WebsterReid Webster

have helped pick up where Peake left off.  The Tigers do have depth at tight end but will miss Leggett, and Dye may be back soon to take Choice's reps.

The one injury that affects the offense core than any other is obviously Watson's.  He is the best player on offense and he completely changes the offensive line.  At this point, the Tigers have survived the last two weeks by winning with defense.  That may be the formula until Watson gets back. Hopefully that will happen for Georgia Tech.
