Good read. That connection to their alma mater is something that every "agent" or proponent of the NIL/transfer portal culture doesn't understand or doesn't care about. When you go to 4 schools in 4 years you aren't going to have that.

When it comes time for the reunions are you going to be welcome back? Or if you fall short of the professional leagues and decide you want to get into coaching, where are you going to get your foot in the door? Because your probably burned bridges at 3 different places prior... and coaches talk.

Sometimes the best business decision is to show some loyalty and not just chase dollars. The grass isn't always greener. Coaches/employers have reason to doubt someone who jumps around so much.

Exactly. For every 1-2 guys who transferred and blew up at their new school there's probably 20 guys who transferred and the grass was even less green than where they left. I just hope for these kids' sake that they have good representatives who are actually looking after their best interests and not just looking to get the quickest bang for their buck.
