It's been awhile since you could play as the Clemson Tigers in a new football video game but the Madden franchise is giving you taste of it in 2019.
The NFL video game franchise has Clemson as one of 10 teams you can play as part of its 'Face of the Franchise' mode for Madden NFL 20. That means you can don the Orange and White playing as part of the story of fictional Devin Wade and guide his path to the pros starting with the College Football Playoff. The other teams available are Florida, Florida State, LSU, Miami, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Texas Tech and Southern Cal. The game is slated to be available on August 2. The last game to feature Clemson football was NCAA Football 14, which was the last in the EA Sports franchise after lawsuits over the usage of college athletes' likeness without compensation.
