Clemson added another Sunshine State Signing Day addition with 3-star offensive lineman Kaleb Boateng. Clemson announced his signing Wednesday morning and Boateng will have a ceremony at his high school at 10:30 a.m.
Boateng, who will enroll early, got a taste of Clemson’s campus on Junior Day in March and was previously looking at Arizona, South Florida, Florida Atlantic and Maryland among his final schools before the Tigers offered. Boateng is rated as a consensus 3-star prospect with evaluations at guard and tackle but he’s expected to play guard or center with the Tigers. Boateng’s senior highlight reel as a left tackle shows a litany of pancake blocks and clearing the way effectively in the running game. He posted 38 pancakes and allowed just two sacks as a junior second-team All-County honoree. Other offers include Pittsburgh, Boston College, Cincinnati, Louisville and Purdue among more FBS programs.
