We had better be getting our own house in order because the ACC surely won't be.

"BREAKING: SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey has announced that the SEC will be breaking away from the NCAA effective for the 2028-2029 academic calendar year. This comes after months of speculation about the move. More to follow."

done at this point. If the SEC is off by themselves with ESPN funding them then its just a waste of time for anyone outside that conference to watch college football anymore. This thing just destroyed college football in no time.. no records or champions from this point forward really matter. Its like if MLB allowed steroids to continue.. all the newer records wouldn't really mean anything. Its a pretty sad day for us in our current state.

make the NCAA pay for all the NIL court cases. Once it is all hashed out, then just leave the NCAA.

Not sure of when but it is fairly obvious it won’t be long before something happens. B1G and SEC will definitely be or already are in a league of their own financially. They will eat up the playoff spots (some deserved no doubt) but it seems some of these schools get way too much credit for just playing in one of these conferences.
