4-star wide receiver Clemson commit Cornell Powell announced his four official visits during the upcoming football season.

Powell will be visiting Georgia (Sept. 19), Oklahoma (Oct. 3), Ohio State (Oct. 17) and Clemson (Nov. 7).

TigerNet.com spoke with Powell on Thursday morning, and he had the following to say about each school that will receive official visits.

"Ohio State is national champs so obviously it's a great place to play," Powell said. "Clemson is because I'm in love with the place! It's just different. Oklahoma coach Lincoln has recruited me since I was in the 9th grade. Georgia coach Schottenheimer is a great guy, and I want to get up there."

Powell wanted to help reassure Clemson fans about him possibly wavering on his commitment. "Clemson is the place to be! My mom and I love it there. I'm still 100% Clemson!"

Powell had 67 receptions for 1248 yards and 19 touchdowns as a junior. He also had 12 rushes for 83 yards and two scores. As a kick-off returner, he had 14 returns for 445 yards and a touchdown.

He had 47 catches for 1,228 yards and 21 touchdowns as a sophomore.

He has offers from Alabama, Clemson, East Carolina, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Wake Forest, West Virginia and others.
