Beat me to it. Amazing how many people just repeat things without knowing the facts. Christians have the same right as everybody else, but the left tries to only silence the Christians wonder why🧐

Atheism is actually the absence of religious practice , or belief. Paganism , while technically a sort of spiritual worship...isn't in any public school system in America. Neither is Atheism. I believe that everyone in this country has the right to worship or not worship as they please , but I am on the side of not pushing one religion over all of the others (particularly in places of learning and where minds are young and impressionable). If one believes in a higher power , then all should have the same platform. That , to me , is truly liberty ...and freedom for all.

That phrase first appeared in coins in 1864 and on paper money in the 1950s. Country was founded well before that and the early English settlers, while very religious as a whole, were quite clear in their writings that they were escaping state sponsored religion. Seemed like a good idea then and now.

They didn't put " IGWT" on the money until mid 20th century. So that wasn't established by the constitution or it's writers. Also , and this may be a bit of a surprise to ya , but it doesn't say "christian" god ...it says god. Again. No issue with religious practices , they should just be kept in a building of worship or schools that have them as their foundational tenet.

Ever see "In God we trust" on anything having to do with the government? Fact is, this country and our government and laws were all founded on the ideas of rights, freedom and faith in God.
But did you know that Thomas Jefferson was the author of many parts of the Constitution and the freedoms that we enjoy? (Many of these freedoms are under seige as Trump is trying to take them away.) TJ believed in the freedom of religion for ALL, Incloding Atheists and Satanists!! He was a member of the predecessor of the Unitarian Universalist Church that teaches that their church serves ALL strains of religious opinions and beliefs, as well as Atheism. And people of all sexes and persuasions. ALL are welcomed to become.members there in the UUAC. And Thomas Jefferson was a fervent believer of FREEDOM OF RELIGION and SEPARATION OF THE CHURCH AND STATE.

Oh believe me. I already know he’s dumb as dirt. He doesn’t believe in hate speech. So when someone is being homophobic and I want to report that one person, he calls me a Nazi. He started bullying me too. He even thinks that him bullying me is teaching me a lesson. Like no. You’re just being a ahole for no reason. I’ve tried to be nice to him too but he refuses to be nice back. He doesn’t like anyone who leans left. Even if that person is a sane individual who respects the other side of the political spectrum. People like him can’t be reasoned with. So the best thing to do is ignore their sorry azzes.

That will probably be forced down by the courts. This is one day ago in Louisiana.
"Court blocks Louisiana law requiring schools to post Ten Commandments in classrooms. NEW ORLEANS — A panel of three federal appellate judges has ruled that a Louisiana law requiring the Ten Commandments to be posted in each of the state's public school classrooms is unconstitutional."

It’s not constitutional. Now…if they want to also post related info from various other religions as an effort to show kids in their Christian echo chambers that there’s a whole world of belief systems out there…then I’d be good with that.

I didn't say he was wrong. I said that he didn't understand what Christianity was about.
Philosophically speaking, "the afterlife" is an accident of Christianity, not its essence.
People get the two confused, even in the church.

If you say so.
But since I'm in the family, and have been for a while, I probably have a pretty good idea of what does -- and what doesn't -- attract people to Jesus.
"Eternal life" isn't what caused me to come to faith. And I don't know anyone else who would say that was it. Nobody.
But I can understand how people might misunderstand that, from the outside.

More evangelical virtue signalling over commandments that most of their hirelings preach don't exist anymore. Most of them preach the lawless, sinners prayer, mouth confession onlyism, broad way to destruction. They claim they follow Christ while espousing & evangelizing Alesteir Crowley philosophy (Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law).
And then in the other ditch you have the Judaisers who think skipping bacon & laying real still on Saturday saves them. Satan loves dealing in extremes (lasciviousness/legalism) to trap most. Paul summed up the law beautifully in Romans 13:8-10.
