Deshaun Watson has another super-fan.
Raiders head coach Jon Gruden was so impressed by Watson's game-winning performance against the Raiders on Sunday that he compared him to NBA legend Michael Jordan. "You see Michael Jordan, you see some of the great athletic plays in any sport, you've got to tip your hat to the guy," Gruden said, via Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle. "We had him three times, and then he makes an unbelievable throw and the kid makes a great catch." Gruden knows that Watson can make a play when there appears there is nothing. "If you've watched Watson play, we're not the first team he's gotten. He's a spectacular player. He wills it out of his team, and he makes something out of nothing, and he did a lot again today, and I credit him. It's a credit to him." Watson finished the game with 25-for-37 passing for 260 yards with three passing touchdowns. Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney was asked on Tuesday if anything surprises him with Watson's play. "I'm never surprised by Deshaun. He's a guy you'd better get on the ground." In his young NFL career through 30 starts, Watson has completed 67.2 percent with 61 touchdowns and 22 interceptions.
