WATCH: ESPN analyst predicts Clemson blowout of Texas A&M

by -

ESPN analyst Jonathan Vilma doesn't share fellow Miami linebacker alum Jon Beason's view of Saturday's game between No. 1 Clemson and No. 12 Texas A&M.

Instead of the upset or even a close contest, Vilma likes the 17-point favorites to take care of business in that manner and more.

"I'm taking the blowout. I'm looking at Texas A&M and saying, 'Who scares you?'" Vilma said. "If I'm Clemson, I faced a better quarterback in the title game than Kellen Mond. I faced a better defense in the title game.

"I now have a seasoned veteran...in Trevor Lawrence. I have Tee Higgins on the outside. I have (Travis) Etienne in the backfield -- and of course, the defense is always going to be lights-out where they just reload and reload and reload. I don't see anything on the Texas A&M side that is supposed to scare Clemson. Yes, Clemson has to play well and do well -- perform and execute. I see a blowout."
