Race car will celebrate Clemson's title at Alabama's Talladega Superspeedway |
There will be a reminder of Clemson's football national championship for Alabama fans at the General Tire 200 this weekend at the Talladega Superspeedway. NASCAR driver Ed Pompa will be in his purple and orange No. 10 car that has a huge Tiger paw logo on the front hood that says 2016 Football National Champions.
"I realize Alabama may not be the best place to run a Clemson scheme but it's all for a good cause, and we get a ton of exposure at Talladega," Pompa told AL.com. Proceeds from the hood are going to support the Double H Ranch for Kids charity.
