Ferrell on his NFL decision:

Ferrell on his NFL decision: "Nobody knows what I'm going to do"

Clemson junior defensive lineman Clelin Ferrell is a very highly-regarded NFL prospect if you go by the draft boards released by various national media pundits this season.

Ferrell spoke to reporters Wednesday during Clemson's Media Day and shared that there is a chance that he comes back to Clemson next season.

"Oh yeah for sure," he said. "Why wouldn’t there be? People didn’t think I was coming back last year. Nobody knows what I am going to do because it is my decision."

Ferrell wants to take his time getting all the pertinent information before making any decision on his football future.

"That’s funny that you asked that," he said. "A lot of people just really assume stuff for me that really don’t even know me. There are a lot of things that go through my mind. I don’t think about what other people say about me. I just take the facts. Take it for what it is. Lay it all out on the table. Then I just decide whatever I think is best for me and I haven’t made a decision yet. Obviously, I don’t feel I have to till after this season because I owe to my teammates to give it my all this season."

Ferrell was asked what would leave Clemson and throw his hat into the NFL?

"Do I feel like I am ready to go? Are there some things that I still want to accomplish here at Clemson? Other than that I am just going to pray on it."

For the season, he has been impressive with 46 tackles including 17 for loss, 10.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and three pass breakups.
