ESPN announcer under scrutiny for controversial statement

Clemson starting quarterback Kelly Bryant got the wind knocked out of him in the second quarter in Clemson's 14-6 win over Auburn on Saturday night.

ESPN announcer Steve Levy said the following describing Bryant's injury to the fans watching ESPN.

"We were worried about Bryant when he was down. He was motionless. I was “Deondre Francoising” him for a second," Leavy said on air.

Florida State fans are upset that Levy used "Deondre Francoising" term to coin a season-ending injury. Francois is out for the season with a torn patella tendon and just had successful surgery on Tuesday.

Good news for Clemson fans is that Kelly Bryant got back up from the injury and led the team to a 2-0 start.
