^^^this^^^. Typical overreaction in our overly sensitive society. No different than the term "Teboing" that the media took & ran with. I don't recall seeing anything like this made of it. Hey, snowflakes, there's a hurricane in progress. Wanna be heard over something that really matters ? Go help in the relief efforts....

Borderline on appropriateness there

[2]

Not too bothered by it. Do we have to be outraged by everything? A little insensitive but no biggy.

However, Levy said a dumb thing or two. He said Clemson's success has been built on offense. The D has saved a lot of games for Clemson the last two years. I thought that was a dumb comment.

Our defense has been important too, but we've certainly been better known for our offense over the past couple years.

Posted: Sep 10, 2017, 1:52 PM

write an article based on ONE TWEET to imply their is outrage over this comment.

I'm not saying the comment was appropriate or not. But there's NO outrage. Even the person who Tweeted about it, who covers FSU for a living and therefore might be more tuned in to such things, didn't dwell on it. She Tweeted about it once and it was retweeted about 50 times. This is not news and does not constitute "going viral" or "internet outrage". One person's tweet does not constitute being "under scrutiny". If it does, get ready to write an article every day about every coach, commentator, etc, out there.

This is a COMPLETE non-issue.

Has to do with having some decency. Here is a situation where a person who has never accomplished anything athletically is mocking the season ending injury of a young man who has actually put the work in to be on the field of play.

While that was a poor choice of words I'm sure there was no ill intent. I know I didn't think much of it. I don't know why people feel the need to scrutinize everything and get so easily offended anyway. I'm sure he probably would've never said it again even if nobody said anything about it.

Fans are getting very sensitive these days. It maybe bc monuments that has been around 75 to a 100 years are now starting to bother and offend folks. And it's mostly the folks that were allowed to stay on a bottle and #### the the bed until they were 6 graders. Removing the rod from parents hands years back, it ruined the kids that are now adults!!! Everything now hurts their feeling or offends the eyes!!!

I really think all he meant was the ACC's favored team lost their QB... so Clemson is now the favorite team... now did they just lose their QB?
I didnt see it as a slight toward DF or anything.

I predict in the future man may lose the ability to speak, since nobody can say anything anymore without offending someone...it is not like he caused the injury, or was even happy about it. Hope I have not offended anyone with this post, but I sure miss the days when people were not so easily offended. I mean, if you are offended, nothing happens...noone dies!!! Safe spaces, coloring books for adults, getting people fired for offending someone...no wonder other Nations think were soft!!

Good grief! What's wrong with you people? All the guy meant was that it might have been a serious injury like Francois had. Can't you find something significant to whine about? Don't you know there are Confederate monuments, statues and plaques out there intimidating a lot of people?

I guess we're still waiting for the Administraion to finish "looking into the matter"
