Clemson releases depth chart vs Kent St |
No. 5 Clemson will take on Kent State on Saturday, November 2 on ESPN at noon.
The Clemson depth chart that was released on Monday and some of the interesting highlights on the depth chart include Tre Lamar as a starter at middle linebacker and Dorian O'Daniel is listed as the starter at strong-side linebacker over Jalen Williams. Freshman defensive end Logan Rudolph is listed as a second team defensive end. In the defensive backfield, Ryan Carter and Marcus Edmond are starting at cornerback. Offensively, one positional battle that is still going on currently is Tremayne Anchrum and Sean Pollard who are co-starters at right tackle. Jeff Scott told reporters on Monday that the competition will continue this week in practice and they will both play this weekend. Scott also said that he doesn't have a fixed plan for rotating quarterbacks because it will depend on several factors including the score and the flow of the game. Freshman receiver Will Swinney is listed as the starter at holder for the team.
