I love a pot of grits that has been cooked for at least an hour or more that turns gritty grits into a smooth bowl of grits, you got to love it y'all!!!

I started buying them under the previous name, not because of the name as I bought a local product which tasted great. I am generally not in favor of woke name changes but geechie is a term for the descendants of slaves and the owner is white. I continue to buy a great produce from a Clemson grad

The family were hesitant about the Jimmy Red grits we had for Christmas Eve brunch though lol.
I was thinking I had bought him a unique gift from a SC producer...until I walked into The Fresh Market (among others) that sold it. 🙄
