In-state 2020 pitcher Ricky Williams from Lexington S.C. (River Bluff HS) committed to Clemson on Wednesday.
"I am blessed to announce that I have committed to play baseball and further my education at Clemson University," Williams posted. "Great thanks for my family and coaches for supporting me throughout this journey!" The rising junior was 6-4 with a 3.45 ERA, 57 strikeouts, and only 12 walks in 13 games this season and was selected as an All-Region performer. Offensively, he hit .385 with eight RBIs.
