This dude is smart. Ahead of his time smart.

I hope nothing but the best for him and the bananas. I loved in Savannah during the Sand Gnat years, and when they left and the bananas came in, it was a flurry. So fast! From trying to get any ticket sold to the Sand Gnats, to a rapid build to the bananas being sold out and 3 year wait list for ticket holders.

What an ascent! Fun too.

in a 4th of July Hot Dog eating contest when he was GM of the Gastonia Grizzlies.

He is a hard-working guy with a lot of energy and passion so the comparison to Dabo is apt.

Later, I was eating in a Texas Roadhouse when he came walking in, obviously hosting a group of men. I went over to say hello since we had talked a few times before. He said he was pitching a business idea to the guys. I often wonder if that meeting had anything to do with Banana Ball.
