The nation's top-rated dual-threat QB for 2021 announced a Clemson offer on Tuesday.
"Blessed to receive an offer from Clemson University," Gonzaga (D.C.)'s Caleb Williams posted on Twitter. He holds 20-plus offers currently, including Georgia and Alabama, but was in town for the Clemson-Texas A&M game. Williams averaged 9.9 yards per attempt with 14 TDs to four interceptions as a sophomore over eight games, adding eight scores and 229 yards on the ground. Clemson's previous two QB offers for 2021 have committed elsewhere, in Drake Maye (Alabama) and Eli Stowers (Texas A&M).
