My gut is saying 4-3 Tigers but I would love to shock the Mountaineers and blow them out. Tho with our bats not having much pop this year (Even against mediocre pitching) I doubt it. One can hope tho. Another question is how long will Knaak pitch for? I’m hopping for a solid 7 innings. Then maybe have Allen or Mahlstedt close out the game. Save the bulk of our bullpen for tomorrow when we should need them the most. I also hope we finally get a hit from Preist and Paino today. If EB is going to continue having them bat in the 3-4 spots then they have to start getting some hits and productive at bats if we want to make it far in this tournament.

My predictions will solely be based on Knaak.

If he comes out guns a blazing, has all his pitches working and has his normally accuracy. I think the Mountaineers will be in trouble. 7-1 tigers

If he comes out and leaves his changeup hanging, doesn't have his normal juice on his fastball and we need to go to the bullpen early. Going to be much closer. 7-6 Tigers

Allen has not looked good in a while . I pray we don’t go to him in a close game but after witnessing Bakich pull McGovern last nite nothing will surprise me anymore
