Clemson 2016 linebacker commit Tre Lemar was named Team 11's Athlete of the Week for his 18 tackle performance last week in Roswell's 48-14 win over Walton.
Lamar was excited in helping his team get the big-time win. “It felt great,” Lamar said via 11alive.com. “My defensive line was doing their job. Blocks weren’t getting to me like I thought they would. The play just showed itself so I went and got it.” The highly-recruited prospect thinks that the best is yet to come for his high school football team. “I think we’re going to keep doing what we’re doing,” Lamar said. “I feel each week we’re going to get better. The next week you see Roswell will be better than the last.” Lamar has an impressive 76 tackles in five games this season.
