WATCH: Swinney ecstatic to meet hot dog eating champion Joey Chestnut

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney is around famous people 24/7 and still gets excited to meet different celebrities.

One of Swinney's biggest thrills recently was being interviewed by the famous hot dog eating champion Joey Chestnut during Saturday's CFB Title Media Day.

"You’re Joey Chestnut?!" Man, I see you every July when there’s like nothing on TV but the hot dog eating thing, and I know exactly who you are," Swinney said.

Swinney had a brief conversation with Chestnut as he grinned from ear to ear sharing with the all-time eating great his favorite way to eat a hot dog is with chili and mustard only and loves to devour pizza.

Chestnut is currently ranked No. 1 in the world by Major League Eating and ate a record 74 hot dogs to win Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest for the 11th time.
