Playing time breakdown: Clemson displays depth at Georgia Tech

by - Staff Writer -

Clemson cleared the bench to play its entire depth chart (minus injuries) and more for a second-straight week: this time in ACC play at Georgia Tech.

The entire 72-man travel roster saw action in the 49-21 win, including 48 playing a double-digit amount of snaps.

Among defensive standouts, J.D. Davis got the start in place of the injured Kendall Joseph and logged 10 tackles in his 42 snaps. Christian Wilkins posted five stops (two for loss) with a sack in 32 plays.

On the offensive side, Travis Etienne averaged 10.4 yards per touch with two touchdowns in 27 snaps. Tavien Feaster carried the ball in eight of his 19 snaps for 75 yards with a score. In 58 plays this season, freshman Justyn Ross has accounted for three receptions of 29 or more yards (adding one of 53 yards in a TD versus Georgia Tech), which matches Tee Higgins' total in 147 snaps (who had a 30-yard TD catch against Georgia Tech).

Here’s a look at week four on the Clemson participation report:
