NC State RB on Death Valley: "We know that we can quiet the crowd" |
The list of undefeated college football teams is down to only 11.
The No. 4 Clemson vs. No. 20 North Carolina State matchup inside Death Valley next Saturday at 3:30 p.m. will feature two unbeaten teams trying to gain a firm grip of the ACC Atlantic division race. In 2016, No. 3 Clemson escaped with a 24-17 overtime home win. For the Wolfpack players, many of them have confidence from that game including senior running back Reggie Gallaspy II. "My first time playing in Death Valley, we were up the majority of the game so the crowd was quiet," he said via WRAL. "So we know that we can quiet the crowd. That's what we need to go in there to do.. be crisp and do everything we can to jump out on those guys, keep the crowd out of it." Is this a challenge for Clemson fans? Sounds like a challenge. For the season, Gallaspy has 89 rushes for 324 yards (3.64 YPC) and seven touchdowns.
