View Full Profile will be in town tomorrow to sign a one-day contract and officially retire as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. McLane also says that it will be quite the event as lots of former Eagles plan to attend, including a few surprises.

I have no guess as to who those surprises may be, but it should be an emotional event as one of the franchise’s best and most beloved players returns to city where he spent the majority of his brilliant career.

In addition to signing the deal and speaking with reporters, Dawkins will throw out the first pitch at tomorrow’s game between the Phillies and Cubs at Citizens Bank Park.
