2021 Norfolk, Virginia athlete Malik Newton announced a Clemson offer on Thursday after working out at Dabo Swinney's camp.

Newton reported that the Tigers were his 12th offer, joining schools such as Tennessee, Texas A&M, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Virginia and Penn State.

Newton was an all-region offensive player of the year after totaling nearly 2,000 rushing yards.
