The linebacker is ranked No. 8 on The Birmingham News Super Seniors list and even higher by ESPN.com, which lists him as the top linebacker and No. 15 prospect in the nation. But Alexander tore an ACL a few weeks ago and is out for the season. The day after the injury, he received word from at least two programs -- Alabama and Clemson -- that the injury wouldn't hurt his recruitment.
