Norfolk, Virginia defensive tackle prospect KaTron Evans announced a Clemson offer on Thursday evening.
Evans is a 2021 prospect and rated as a No. 2-rated defensive tackle and top-20 overall in the class. "Blessed to receive my 23rd offer from (Clemson)," Evans posted on Twitter. He already holds offers from Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Oklahoma and Michigan among more Power 5 schools. Evans made a stop on campus to hang out with Norfolk-area recruiter Brent Venables and Clemson staff before the season (photo below). Evans was named second-team All-America as a freshman by Maxpreps.
