Guesley Dervil had been a top target at safety for the Tigers this year. With S Sadat Chambers committing, the Tigers may not take another safety.

"Coach Swinney called me Monday. He said they had a lot player already committed to them, so he said we will have to wait and see."

Alabama and Ole Miss have already had in home visits with Dervil. Other coaches are expected to be coming by soon.

"I go to West Virginia for an official visit this weekend. I have Alabama on January 8, then Ole Miss on January 15, and I will either go to Nebraska or Illinois on January 21."

The Tigers may continue to try and slow play Dervil, in case any players de-commit. Dervil will stay on the Tiger Source recruiting board, but we will follow his status closely.
