Edge rushers continue to be a rising premium in college football. Clemson may have college football's best this year in Gaines Adams, but the Tigers are looking for life after Adams. Ricky Booker fits the profile of a future edge rusher.

As a junior, Booker had 17 sacks and 21 tackles for loss. Overall, he made 115 tackles.

"I want to make every tackle. I never give up on a play. Teams started going away from me towards the end of last season, and that just made me work harder. I want to dictate what other teams do offensively."

As far as recruiting, Booker has several offers from ACC and SEC schools. He does currently hold five schools on top.

"Auburn, Clemson, Louisville, Florida, and Alabama. Auburn would be my leader. They just really have things going. I like everything about them. Clemson is also going in the right direction. Their defense was really good down the stretch last year. Louisville has used smaller quicker defensive ends a lot. Florida needs playmakers on defense. Alabama is always good defensively, and I know they would put me in a good position."
