Mitch Hyatt injury update

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney said on Sunday during his media teleconference that sophomore Mitch Hyatt is day-to-day with a sprained foot.

"He kind of got stepped on," Swinney said. "Someone came down on the back of his leg and sprained his foot. He actually looked pretty good today. Danny [Poole] was pretty optimistic. We will re-evaluate him in the morning."

Hyatt did not start on Saturday because he was 30 seconds late to a special teams meeting and Swinney said that is a standard rule on the team if you are late.

Swinney also said that he'll visit with offensive tackle Jake Fruhmorgen tomorrow, but he's still out indefinitely.

"Nothing has changed," Swinney said. "I hope to get a chance to visit a little with him [Fruhmorgen] tomorrow. That's really between him and his family right now. I'm just keeping him in my thoughts and prayers and hoping that he will be back sooner rather than later. Right now he is out indefinitely."
