When did Hyatt enter the game? The TV announcers were mum about his lack of PT.
Have there been others who have missed starts under Dabo?

15 minutes early is on time. Anything short of that means you're late. It's a respect for yourself, colleagues & those in positions of leadership.

So you just get there 15 minutes early and twiddle your thumbs? I guess that punctuality is worth wasting those 15 minutes when you could be doing something else productive. I'm all for being on time, but that is a little extreme, IMO.

Agreed. Coach Swinney sets the rules and everybody understands them. I guess that all the folks that think this is extreme think their boss can't set the rules either

Each week that can be spent in practice or meetings. Be of that I doubt they are required to be 15 min early for any meeting, as that 15 minutes would count towards the allotted practice/ meting time. He probably showed up at 8:00:30 for an 8 am meeting. I bet he won't make that mistake again.

What are you talking about?

I've worked for a military contractor, a privately held corporation, and a large multinational bank. I don't think I've ever seen anyone (much less leadership themselves) be 15 minutes early for a meeting.
On an average day, I have anywhere from 3 to 4 meetings, and it's been that way for pretty much my entire career. If I were 15 minutes early for each, that would be one hour of my day wasted. I'm sure those in senior leadership positions have days with more than 4 meetings...no way they would waste that much of their time showing up 15 minutes early, and they sure as heck don't want their subordinates to do so either.
I strive to be 2 or 3 minutes early, if possible, and the only times I'm late are when other more important meetings run over. If I were more than 5 minutes early, I would be sitting in the room all alone looking pretty stupid while everyone else around me is getting things done.

You are all over it. I have been pretty successful in my career and in my life, and I believe in punctuality, but I don't believe in wasting time - mine or anyone else's. Get there prior to the start of the meeting and work your backsides off prior to and immediately following, and you will be very successful, and s o will your boss and your company, most likely.
