247Sports released its revamped numbers for the talent on every FBS roster recently and Clemson slipped three spots to No. 9 overall.

Clemson's average player rating dropped about a point (89.4) after the class of prospects who just went to the NFL, including a pair of 5-stars in Christian Wilkins and Dexter Lawrence. The Tigers have the highest rating among programs with 80 signees or less on the roster (80; teams rated 1-8 have at least 83 signees still on board).

Dabo Swinney's squad has seven Composite 5-stars currently, which is tied for fourth-best nationally behind Georgia (14), Ohio State (13) and Alabama (11).

Team Talent No. 1 Alabama's roster (984.96) is marked by only 13 3-stars among the group, compared to 24 and up for the rest of the top-10 (33 for Clemson, which has an 863.03 cumulative rating). Florida State still paces the ACC at No. 6 overall (878.07) with 41 4-star or higher rated prospects and 40 3-star prospects.

In-state rival South Carolina is ranked 20th (793.60), with a lone 5-star on the roster and 23 4-star prospects. Miami is the next-best in the ACC (800.75), with a big drop to the fourth (UNC - 697.75) and fifth-best teams (Virginia Tech - 695.96).
