Clemson extended an offer to 2020 4-star Sanford, N.C. defensive end Desmond Evans Friday evening.
He is rated as the No. 1 player in the state of North Carolina and the No. 2 WDE nationally. "I’m blessed to receive an offer from Clemson University," Evans posted about the news on Twitter. Other offers for Evans so far include North Carolina, Mississippi State, Kentucky, Texas A&M, NC State, Virginia Tech, Appalachian State, Charlotte and East Carolina. Evans totaled 45 tackles with 14 of those sacks as a sophomore. He recently picked up an invite to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
