That's Was By Far The Hardest Thing I Ever Had To Do
There Are Not Many Coaches Like Coach Dabo The Clemson Staff #SeriousTweet
Sumner-Gardner wanted to visit other schools when he got new offers such as Texas A&M, Baylor, Texas, etc. , and he thought the respectable thing to do was to decommit because of Dabo Swinney's policy on visiting other schools when you are committed. On Wednesday, Clemson OC Chad Morris visited him at his high school in Texas and on Thursday Sumner-Gardner got an offer from Nebraska. He also had recently attended a junior day at Texas A&M. Sumner-Gardner has a chance to be rated one of the top safeties in the class of 2014. He began to waiver on his commitment to Clemson when his recruiter Charlie Harbison left Clemson for Auburn. This past summer, Sumner-Gardner rode 24 hours on a bus to make it to Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney’s camp and he left committed to what he then called "his dream school".
