One of Clemson's priority targets for the 2017 recruiting cycle has set a decision date. Four-star wide receiver Amari Rodgers of Knoxville (TN) Catholic posted on Twitter Thursday evening that he will make a decision on Valentine's Day.
Rodgers, who committed to USC last summer, helped Catholic win the state championship last fall. He had an 82-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, a 43-yard scoring reception and even tallied an interception. Clemson wide receivers coach and co-offensive coordinator Jeff Scott offered Rodgers in early December. Rodgers, the son of USC staffer and former Tennessee quarterback Tee Martin, then set up a Clemson visit. Rodgers visited during Clemson's Junior Day. Rodgers has offers from Tennessee, Clemson, Florida St., USC and LSU among others. He had 1,600 yards on 60 catches as a junior. Stay tuned... pic.twitter.com/gXXy18mihz
