Clemson has offered 4-star 2017 shooting guard Devontae Shuler from Columbia, South Carolina (Irmo HS) on Wednesday according to multiple reports.
Shuler is an attacking combo guard with explosive athleticism and tremendous raw speed. He has a high motor that plays with a lot of energy.
He is rated 4 stars by all the recruiting services and is regarded as the #2 player in South Carolina for the 2017 recruiting cycle. He would be a huge get for Brownell and the Tigers.
The rising junior has offers from Clemson, Southern California, Stephen F. Austin and Wofford. He has high interest from South Carolina, Virginia, VCU, Wake Forest and other schools.
In 2014 regular season, Shuler averaged 24.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4 assists and 3.6 steals per game.
His AAU team is the SC Hornets and he went to the same high school (Irmo) as current Clemson guard Jordan Roper.
He is looking for a school that has a good education.
