Clemson 2015 quarterback commit Tucker Israel was 24 for 36 passing for 417 yards and five touchdowns in a 59-33 blowout win against East River this past Friday.
Israel broke the record for single-season Florida passing touchdowns from former great Tim Tebow (46 in 2004). Israel now has FIFTY-ONE passing touchdowns and 3,903 yards for the season. As a junior, he passed for 3,979 yards and 40 touchdowns with just 10 interceptions. As a sophomore, Israel passed for 3,685 yards, 36 touchdowns, with only 8 interceptions. As a freshman, he threw for 2,924 yards and 30 more touchdowns. Lake Nona will next play Lakeland in a Class 7A region quarterfinal playoff game.
