Good ideas, but doesn't sound like the new agreement will be enforceable if it goes against state laws like the one in Tennessee.

Sounds like they are positioning it as "You sign to abide by the rules that apply to everyone, stop suing and trying to gain advantages that circumvent the rules, and if you don't knock it off you can potentially be kicked out and replaced."

What a colossal cesspool and mess the NCAA, NIL, and the Portal have created.

This is what I have been wanting. Make the entire bunch of elite football teams join a club. If you want in the club, you will abide by the club rules. Let Tennessee and others do what they want but, they may have to do it without a football schedule.

Yup, agreed!

While I like the overall concept, I just can't see how schools won't get sued over not abiding by state laws. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

It wont fly. It violates U.S. anti trust law. Other states will come out against the way this is written, too.
