Clemson 2015 defensive end commit Clelin Ferrell had a MRI on his knee on Monday and was diagnosed with a torn ACL according to multiple reports. He will undergo sugery soon and will more than likely miss the entire football season.
The injury occurred this past Friday in a scrimmage against Bishop O'Connel during a non-contact play. The 6-5, 225-pound DE prospect chose Clemson over offers from Boston College, Charlotte, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Iowa, LSU, Marshall, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and others. As a junior, Ferrell recorded 60 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, and 11.5 sacks. Don't Feel Sorry For Me I'll Be Back, It's Just A Matter Of Time???? Shout out to Under Armour @AllAmericaGame DE & #Clemson commit @Cle_Missile. Rehab that knee and come back better than ever.
