4-star 2016 athlete and Clemson target Korey Charles TigerNet spoke with him on Sunday night and he said that he had a great time on his visit to Clemson. "I loved the visit. It was really great seeing everything and meeting the coaches and just everything. I enjoyed it a lot," said Charles. He also had some complementary things to say about Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney: "I liked him a lot. He seems like a good coach who cares about his players." Clemson's upgrade in facilities also stood out for Charles: I really like the facilities and was really impressed with Death Valley. It was the pretty neat and cool to see it on television and then being there was cool." Charles told TigerNet that his top three schools are LSU, Florida State and Clemson. He has no other visits planned and wants to just focus on school right now. His early offer list includes Clemson, Florida State, Louisville, LSU, Miami, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Penn State, South Florida and Wisconsin. At a recent combine, he ran a timed 4.40 40 yard dash and showed off a 33.5 inch vertical. He described his football play on the gridiron as: "I'm a very fast, tough guy that can hit hard when I want." He is from the same school (North Florida Christian) as current Clemson defensive back Travis Blanks. ICYMI: Pic of Charles and Swinney on his Clemson visit back in mid-July.
