Swinney has high praise for a freshman WR

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney had high praise for freshman wide receiver Joseph Ngata on Monday night after practice.

"He's special. He's as hard a worker that I have ever been around, seniors included. I never had a senior that was a harder worker," Swinney said. "He is one of the most focused, one of the most committed young people I have ever seen. It is amazing to watch him work. He loves to be coached. He loves to learn. He is a sponge. He loves to soak up knowledge and then he applies it. He's special."

Swinney was asked if Ngata reminded him of another player.

"I don't know if I have had one like him," Swinney said. "Maybe a faster, more athletic Kevin Youngblood."
