Elite 2016 defensive end Rahshaun "Shaq" Smith will visit Clemson this weekend according to his twitter account.

Smith will drive down on Friday alongside his mother. He is a very coveted 2016 prospect and the #1 rated defensive end prospect by the Rival's recruiting service.

He has offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Boston College, Clemson, Connecticut, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon State, Penn State, Rutgers, South Carolina, Tennessee, USC, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Wisconsin and others.

The 6-2, 230 lb defensive end transfered from Towson (Md.) Calvert Hall to Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy before the season.

Smith is super athletic with long arms, high motor and explosive speed. He is transitioning to the defensive end from the linebacker position.
