Dreams do come true even for freshman signal-caller Trevor Lawrence.

Lawrence spoke to the media during Tuesday's Media Day and shared that he dreamt of playing for an elite program like Clemson and playing in top-tier bowl games like the upcoming Goodyear Cotton Bowl against Notre Dame.

"This was definitely one of my dreams to go to a school and play in games like this for championships," he said. "I envisioned it. Obviously, one of my goals was to play and hopefully start my freshman year so I envisioned it. I didn't know how it would happen."

Lawrence knows that the first step of doing something is believing in yourself.

"It's been a crazy ride to this point but I believed it."
