Good news for fans of both Clemson and the Carolina Panthers.

Former Clemson offensive lineman Taylor Hearn has been promoted from the practice squad to the active roster of the Carolina Panthers on Thursday.

Hearn will take the spot of Brendan Mahon who was placed on the injured reserve list with a concussion.

Hearn was a third team All-ACC pick last season.
