Virginia coach gets helpful advice from Dabo Swinney

The Virginia basketball program won their first National Championship in school history after the 85-77 overtime victory over Texas Tech last night.

Motivation and advice can come from all over places for such a big game as one sage tip actually came from Clemson's National Championship coach Dabo Swinney.

"I got a text from Dabo Swinney, who said let the light that shines in you be brighter than the light that shines on you," Bennett said after the win.

The quote was so perfect that Bennett decided to share it with his team.

"I love that quote. I don't know where it was, but I thought it was so good, and I shared it with the guys, and (Guy) has something in big games and makes plays — that it's just he has it in him," Bennett said.

"I know he's a young man of faith, and he has great confidence in himself, and he's honest, and he's just got it. He did it again and made big shots, and I've seen that from -- you look at him, and he's not the most physical guy, but it's inside.’’

Guy was 'indeed the guy' leading his team to the title by scoring 25 points against the Red Raiders.
