Rex Ryan on CFP's judging Big 10 teams to Clemson: 'Stop it already' |

Former NFL coach and current ESPN analyst Rex Ryan is an unabashed supporter of what the Clemson football program is doing under Tigers head coach
Dabo Swinney.
Ryan's son, Seth, played for the Tigers from 2013-17 and Rex was a regular visitor to Death Valley. Asked about the Playoff committee rankings on Monday, Ryan says there's a clear top-three -- and also took a shot at the committee for valuing Big Ten teams over Clemson last week. “100 percent they (Alabama) should be in it,” Ryan said Monday on ESPN's Get Up about 2019 CFP teams. “(Alabama), LSU should be in it and Clemson should be in it. Don’t ever put Penn State ahead of Clemson, for the love of God. Are you kidding me? And the guys from Minnesota, row your boat down there to Clemson and get beat by 40. Stop it already. "Put Ohio State in there and they’ll get beat by 37 (31) like they did last time they played Clemson the last time they made the Playoff. The three best teams, let’s not ruin it. Put those three in there and then put whoever you think should be in there.” What Rex Ryan out here smoking? ??? @OldTakesExposed pic.twitter.com/RCI8Ojpdor
