The top-five remained unchanged during Clemson’s off week but the Tigers’ strength of schedule did see a bit of a bump.

Virginia Tech joined the top-25 this week at No. 23, while Virginia is just outside the group (28th in votes received). Virginia hosts Virginia Tech at noon on Friday (ABC) and the winner meets Clemson on Dec. 7 in Charlotte’s ACC Championship Game (7:30 p.m./ABC).

LSU has 52 first-place votes, ahead of No. 2 Ohio State (7) and No. 3 Clemson (3). Georgia, Alabama, Utah, Oklahoma, Florida, Minnesota and Baylor round out the top-10.
