Upstate restaurant closes after 26 years

The end of an era has come for an upstate favorite cherished by many Tiger fans.

Paw's Diner recently announced on Facebook that, after 26 years of business, they have closed their doors.

"To our customers, our friends,

It is with a devastated heart that we announce that at 3:00pm today we will close indefinitely," the statement read. "We thank you for almost 26 years of friendship and support. This was a sudden decision and saddens us as much as you. If you are unable to make it in today, we will be here cleaning out the building for a couple weeks so please stop by and say hello if you see us. We can not thank all of you enough for the wonderful memories made here.
